If you look at Bleu's face in these photos you'd think it was the best day of her life. And it pretty much was. There was a little carnival in town -- just a few blocks from the house. We met her friend Ella by the ticket booth on a lazy Sunday afternoon. (My boys went fishing!) It was so cool watching the two friends run from ride to ride as brave and giddy as I've ever seen them.

No other riders, so they felt extra special.
Red faces are a result of uncontrollable giggling.
There are days when she seems way older than five.

Fast forward to high school. We're in so much trouble.
