We had the pleasure of attending the New York Renaissance Faire with friends this past weekend. We'd never been. It was quite the experience for our little pirates and princesses... swords, stockades, strength tests, archery games, birds of prey, jousting matches, magic fairy dust, man-powered carousels, knighting ceremonies, and ginormous turkey legs included.

It was! So strange... especially the swords everywhere we turned. We don't normally play with swords :)
