The menu for our anniversary dinner at home:
- Steak + sauteed mushrooms
- Steamed lobster
- Mashed red potatoes
- Corn on the cob
- Fresh strawberry shortcake
Simple and delicious. Last minute we decided to forgo any salad, bread or green beans. It was 9 p.m. One kid down and one happy tot to go. Two candles on the table. American Idol season finale in the background. A second dessert for tomorrow. Perfect.
