Buby met a new friend at the park on Tuesday. A little boy charged right up to him and said, "Nice boots." Great icebreaker. Buby responded, "Thanks. They are my rain boots." And for the next half hour the boys were inseparable. Then I heard, "What's in your blue bag? Can we play with your toys now?" Buby smiled at me shyly and pretended he didn't hear that part.









It's unexpected moments like these I'm happy that I keep my old pocketsize camera in my bag. I was pushing Bleu home from the park in the stroller while Buby rode his tricycle next to us. She reached out to him. He reciprocated. They held hands like this for two blocks.
