I so wish Miss Grace was in this shot with Gillian + Lillian. The 3 friends ~together~ are such a beautiful force in Buby's life. Just another reminder to be gentle and sweet and fair and free. Not to say our play dates are always peaceful. They can be LOUD with excitement, and occasional conflicts do occur as our little ones learn to cope with complex emotions after a long day. At the tail end of Friday's, I caught Buby + Lily pulling each other down in an all-out brawl. Lily lost. Buby went to time-out {for maybe his 4th time ever}. Everyone cried. And made up. When I asked Buby WHY he lost his cool, he blamed Gilly for doing the same thing to him. Our tots have become preschoolers. Let the games begin.

The first thing she told her daddy when she got home was that Buby hit her face. But then immediately started telling him it was Buby's birthday and we sang happy birthday and they played balloons. And the next day wanted to go back to play again, so all was forgotten. They are definitely preschoolers now.
