Fireman's Parade

Before leaving on our road trip we travelled to the 119th annual Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighter's Association Parade. Buby is all about BIG trucks, especially those with sirens + ladders, so we thought he'd get a kick out of it. This beautiful little mountain village hosted about 25,000 firefighters and their friends. We took the top off the Jeep and enjoyed the ride. Buby split a raspberry Italian ice with Daddy and peed in the woods twice {there were no public bathrooms in the village ~ I asked}. Bleu snoozed through most of it. After, I sat and fed her under a shady tree while the boys climbed up on an antique teeter-totter we happened upon in the middle of an open field. Nothing else around but this rusty totter with groovy horses on each end.
