Happy Tummies

Buby finalized his Thanksgiving menu yesterday. We're a teeny tiny group this year, so we're keeping to the basics. Nice and simple. Enough leftover turkey for my mom's al la king dish the next night.
  • 18 lb. Fried Turkey {oh boy! Grandpa got a new fryer, and we're all curious to experiment on turkey. Martha's looked delish last year!}
  • Garlic Smashed Potatoes {the best part of any meal}
  • Sweet Potatoes {yuck, but whatever. the others like it}
  • Walnut Encrusted Green Beans {yummy in tummy. a hit last year!}
  • Spicy Corn {my secret recipe}
  • Mom's Stuffing {we're cool with boxed, but she insists on scratch}
  • Strawberry Marshmallow Supreme {my speciality}
  • Graga's Famous Applesauce
  • Cranberry Sauce {annual must-have}
  • Hot Butter Croissants
  • Whipped Cream Fruit Salad {maybe, if you're good!}
  • Apple Raspberry Crumb Pie {courtesy of my mom}
  • Butterscotch Cream Pie
  • Peanut Butter Cookies {from me--and Betty C.--to my dad this week}
  • Plus appetizers: Mozz, Tomato, + Basil and Shrimp Cocktail

There's 15 items on your menu and only 5 people sitting down to dinner. I'm sure we won't go hungry!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow morning I will be baking and packing and we will be on the road by 8am Wednesday. CAN'T WAIT!
Love you ALL

What's your recipe for Spicy Corn? Please do tell. And it seems like Strawberry Marshmallow Supreme is at every one of your parties! Ha! We're having fried turkey tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

Okay, I admit. I REALLY LOVE my strawberry marshmallow supreme. Sometimes I call it "surprise," but I guess it's no surprise by now. Will email you my spicy corn recipe.
