I recently met the lady who owns Kinderware and sells these pretty Yoyo dolls. I adore the colorful cuddlies more and more every time I set eyes on them. The Yoyos are updates on old quilter's dolls made of scrap fabrics. They sell for $25 each and come in two sizes and multiple designs. The company will be coming out with a kit for kids 6+ to make their own using fishing line and fabric remnants. Kinderware employs Aymara Indian women living in Bolivia to sew the dolls by hand. And they say the community has flourished because of it.
