Happy birthday, Bub! Daddy and I are proud of you. You impress us everyday. It's not just your irresistible wit and charm, keen sense of humor, physical strength, and super smarts that we adore {though that is all wonderful and what makes you YOU}. But it's the way you climb into our bed with four books and a truck tucked under your arm for story time and say "UP, PEEZE" when you need a boost. How you hug Daddy's neck when he picks you up. How you run into my arms when you're nervous or hurt. It's how you say my name and repeat my every word. The way you grab my cheeks, squeeze them, and kiss me so big. It's how you love.
