Masks Magnifique

Elephant mask, $18, from Giggle

Buby thinks he's so funny (which he is) and scary (which he is) popping out from behind furniture, initiating hide-and-seek, and cheating at peek-a-boo with Mama. Somehow I have a feeling he'd like masks. We already have two owl-faced flaps that I detached from Buby's play tunnel, and at least once a day we grab them and hold them up to our faces. We slowly walk (or crawl, in my case) toward each other with the same excited anticipation as when you know someone is about to tickle you. Starring at each other through the owl eyes. When we meet, we press our owl faces together and give lots of Eskimo kisses. It's one way we get our daily dose of laughter (juggling is another). Buby & Co. found these artistic masks from a company called Giggle. They play right into those wonderfully imaginative moments of childhood.
