Our regular Friday playdate was rescheduled. Gal pal Gillian--our host this week--wasn't feeling so hot yesterday. Poor Gilly!! Feel better. It's gorgeous as can be outside, so Buby and I took the opportunity to explore a different park and playground just a few miles away. We met gal pal Grace and mom Allison there around 10. It was total toddler heaven, enormous but safe and superbly designed. How wonderful when people actually put some thought--and community spirit--into a building project! It doesn't even compare to the playgrounds of my youth. The design was 'modern day meets simple pleasures.' Buby & Co. has found a new go-to park!
