review: Crayola Gel Paint

Crayola's washable No Drip Gel Paint is awesome in that you're not likely to spill it onto the floor like other paints. (Though admittedly Buby still tested this product from inside the tub--I'm a patient mom, not a crazy one!) There are three strips of color, so you tear the package into three sections along the perforated line, then peal off the plastic seal over that section. The brush is good size and quality and colors vibrant. Two Buby & Co. complaints: Once you peal the plastic off a strip of color, there is no way to reseal it. We painted many canvases to use it all up, since it was essentially trash-bound after one session. Secondly, and this is just Buby & Co. preference, the color pockets are so close together that Buby inadvertently mixed them all together to make one not-so-pretty tone. Now we have BROWN canvases coming out of our... well, you get the idea. This won't matter for older kids who show more color discrimination and control.
