Class Act

Today Buby enrolled in a 2-yr-old preschool program for the fall. It runs from October through May. We love it as a first introduction--not to classes but to a formal class setting. Miss Irene is his teacher, and she seems fabulous! Didn't even mind that we stayed and played in the room for nearly an hour! It's FULL parent participation (or more accurately, observation--since Miss Irene tells parents to raise their hands on the first day of class... and then sit on them), which is what drew me in. 10 kids to a class, and we took slot 7. Every Tuesday afternoon, an hour and a half of learning, play and crafts, and then we all head down to the pool for 30 minutes of swimming lessons. Mama is there the entire time. The best part: BFF Lillian ended up taking slot 8, so they'll stay together :)
