Buby and Bleu were off for Spring Break last week. And although we spent Sunday through Wednesday road tripping to see extended family, we were very happy to just chill near home the rest of the week. People kept asking me what big, structured activities I had planned (children's museums, aquariums, science center...) to keep us busy upon our return.
My answer was nada. I knew my crew would be most content walking around our little village, playing with sticks and rocks, digging in mud, straddling a stream or two, running our fingers over fuzzy moss, and letting the cool rain fall on our faces. The simple joys of nature we don't always have time for when school is in session.
