Strawberry Fields Forever

I'm so glad we didn't give up last year after the rabbits/birds/squirrels ate our entire crop of strawberries. There is no sweeter feeling than sending the wee ones into the garden to pick dessert. Last night I remarked to My Sweets that our homegrown strawberries, however small and misshapen, are 100xs tastier than the store bought.
