Painted Piggies

This weekend Bleu got her piggies painted for the very first time. I searched high and low for an non-toxic/organic polish -- I swear I saw one featured in Cookie magazine last year -- but after consulting two friends with daughters I settled for "quick drying."


I took the kids to the store and had them pick out a color. Bleu chose dusty rose. Then on Saturday morning my mom pulled out the brightest bright pink I've ever seen. We placed them side by side and had Bleu choose. She wanted the barely there hue. My dad will swear I was influencing her, but I wasn't.


Bleu sat on my mom's lap still as a button. It was super cute. And definitely the girliest thing we've done to date. Her favorite part was watching me huff and puff her nails dry. Next time Dad, we'll go bright. Promise.
