Putting Away Easter, Finally

Most of our Easter decorations were resigned to the attic a couple of weeks ago, with one major exception. Buby asked that we keep the tree just as it is a while longer. Of course I obliged. Of all the tree themes we celebrate in this house, Easter is one of the loveliest.


Finally the kids are ready to hang Bleu's birthday ornaments. So as we undecorated the tree after breakfast this morning I quick threw each lil' item on the light switch in front of me and snapped a photo. I'm pretty sure Buby and Bleu will appreciate the images in their scrapbooks someday. They're really into this stuff.


And by the way, all I could think about as I packed up the handmade pretties is that there will be another name/another initial on this tree next year. It still blows my mind. Another name! Grandma DJ will be one busy lady.
