Grandpa J. drove all the way here on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Sunday with us, and we were so happy to have him. We played outside games, dyed eggs, grilled up a storm, sent bubbles into the sky, and cozied up for books.
On Day 2 we ate a big breakfast, hunted for baskets, arrived early for an 11 a.m. service, enjoyed awesome lunch reservations, cooked a big dinner at home {on full stomachs}, baked a rich chocolate bunny cake from scratch, and went to bed hours late. Good times.
About an hour after Grandpa left this morning Buby and his sad face walked up to me crying, "I miss Grandpa already. Every time I see a white car now I will think of Grandpa."
Please hurry back soon, Grandpa. We miss you already.

Soooooooooo glad you had Grandpa for a holiday. We missed him here but love that your kiddos got some grandparent holiday fun!
