Buby's small private school puts on a number of plays, recitals and concerts throughout the year. Friday night his pre-k class, dubbed the Bunny's, performed their own interpretation of Lorna Hussey's book Rabbit's Winter Walk. Buby and his friend Kathryn played the friendly foxes and did an outstanding job.
My Sweets and I are still in awe at the confidence, creativity and focus of these little ones. They sang and recited lines and performed solos on stage in front of a jam-packed audience, flashy recording devices, and {at times} distracting younger siblings. Buby was more comfortable in front of the crowd than we'd ever seen him.
After a year and a half at this school I can say he's absolutely come out of his shell. Of course he's still our cautious, sensitive, neatnik Mr. Buby, but the teacher tells us he's become the leader among his classmates and friends. No more shy. And that's pretty fab.

WOW, it's so hard to believe our little ones are growing up so fast! I can't wait to see my Nena in these shoes, but I also cannot imagine not being with her 24/7...I pray that she goes to the right school, befriend the right people and just be safe and happy, as I'm sure you do too!
I know... it's amazing. So Ana isn't starting preschool for another year, right? Do you start at 3 years in Canada, too? Bleu will do the same 2-year-old program I did with Buby. It's real preschool but the moms stay in the room. It's to get them comfortable and ready for the following year. That's 2 1/2 hours on Tuesdays. The following year, Fall of '11, she'll do 3 mornings a week without me. Then when she's four she'll do the 3 full like Buby. Ugh. Kindergarten here is 5 full. I'm just trying to enjoy our time at home for long as possible before life gets even crazier.
very cool buby!! would love to see the video!! love you forever
