Here it is. Buby's first "big boy bike." It's the Avigo Road Heat 18-inch. After many a test drive he chose this one. All. By. Himself. I swear... I wasn't even there. My Sweets + Grandma DJ took him to Toys R Us on Saturday while I was at Panera with a friend.
We went back the next day for a new helmet and the completely essential alligator horn. Now if only we could find him a small black wire basket for the front. Ya know... for his rocks and such.
I just realized that the manufacturer's recommended age for this model is 6-8 years, but it's the model that fit Buby's body best. How is that? Our not-so-little dude quickly picked up the art of the two wheeler {with trainers}, and we've been riding all around the village.

He looks terrific on his big boy bike! Take a photo of the alligator horn...I'd love to see it. I'm so impressed he rides a two-wheeler. G is perfectly content to remain on her tricycle, but that may change after she sees Buby's new wheels!

Gilly started riding hers half way through the summer. You guys are so lucky you have lots of pavement to ride on. We have to put the bike sin the back of my car and drive to the school parking lot. Apparently our stone driveway and road are "too tippy!" Aaahh life in the country. Such a big step isn't it?
