I made a lil' pile of back-to-school stuff as we check things off our list {more on that later}. The pile keeps moving around, mainly because Buby is psyched for school and gets a kick out of making his sister insanely jealous. Today it was in the living room.
Buby disappeared several times without a word. When I snuck out of the playroom after him I saw that he was stuffing his new book bag with books. Six small books. When I inquired as to what he was doing, he replied, "My school doesn't have enough books. I never thought there were enough books there."
And no, we weren't headed out. He just likes to be incognito sometimes.

I love it that he's excited about going to school. That only proves how ready he is. You've done a good job of preparing him and giving him the confidence to do things without you.
