Like He Owns the Place

Have I told you lately how much I L-O-V-E our little village? It's like a charming respite of cafes and boutiques and hair salons and fine dining smack in the middle of the country, and less than 90 minutes to the greatest city on earth. There are no double yellow lines in our way, and everyone is friendly.

I don't know if we'll live here forever. Probably not. We do miss family. But for right now I enjoy watching Buby + Bleu soak up this place. Here are photos from our regular Thursday stroll. We paused to chat with Librarian Janet, Baker Kitty, Owner Stacy, Stylist Shannon, Juice Box Brian, Coffee Girl Megan, and Kiddorable Christine. My Sweets asked Buby to surprise him with something from our scrumptious bakery, and, of course, he was happy to oblige.

As much as I hate it that you're 5 hours away ~ I too love your little villiage. Your children get the advantage of living in a small town where everyone knows who they are yet so close to the biggest city in the world. Buby and Bleu are very lucky!
