Over-the-Hump Day

It was perfect out. Not too hot, not too breezy. After school + lunchtime, I put Bleu down for her nap and hit the pavement with Buby. She slept while we got into the hula, the tricycle, the chalk, the bubbles, and the big ball.


As soon as we heard those raspy girl vocals through the monitor Buby + I raced upstairs to announce "Wake up, Sleepyhead!" We headed back out before dinner.

Here Buby is demonstrating for me how to properly chase him with the hula. Then he hopped aboard his tricycle and sped off screaching, "C'mon Mom... get me!" Nobody enjoys a game of cat + mouse like our Buby.

Bleu thinks she's a 3-year-old boy most of the time. Don't you know the first thing she did when I set her down in the backyard was climb UP the slide.
