Buby rode his tricycle. I pulled Bleu in the red wagon. My Sweets carried the practice pole for casting. Walking to the river is the best relaxation on a Sunday afternoon. Buby always disembarks before we reach the main road and holds his daddy's hand across the street. This time he saw My Sweets swoop up his tricycle with one hand and offered, "Wow, that's incredible Dad." So cute. A few minutes later he said, "I got a lot of Valentine's because so many people love me." Beautiful randomness in March.
I'm happy that I grabbed my camera off the wine rack as we darted out because I managed some pretty cool shots of a fine fisherman perfecting his cast. And when I set it down My Sweets captured a lil' wannabe walker in all her glory. Bleu will be up from her nap soon, so I'll fill in the blanks later tonight. Maybe during Idol commercials.

Buby was born smiling while Bleu seems bent on keeping it serious. She has a natural pout to her lips that is just irresistible. This is the first time I've ever seen her on My Sweets' shoulders.
Buby is all about comfort + layers. He calls these his "comfy cozy pants" and will put them on anytime they are hanging in his closet. Last year it was the blue sweats. I had to hide them when it was 95 degrees so he wouldn't wear them out and overheat. That reminds me, the other day he threw down a shirt and told me he only likes the ones without tags. I think it's charming how particular he is about the way things feel on him. He's always worried about sleeves riding, socks bunching, and hairs straying. That's just our Buby.
Bleu is almost ready to take off at 10 months. She lets go and stands or walks holding onto our fingertips. This stage snuck up on us. She doesn't have her first pair of shoes yet, so we'll go for an official measuring in the next two weeks. These thrift shop Maryjanes are mainly for decoration since Bleu's usually barefoot at home and hip-bound in public. They flip right off her feet. My Sweets + I are big believers in quality footwear for little walkers, so we're going to get her a great pair that hopefully will get her through the summer.

You have got some very beautiful children!!!
Love the purple hat on Bleu's head. Too cute! Dad said you're right ~ Bleu has my knees. Poor Bleu...
Great photos. FYI-Spencer was exactly the same way (and still is a bit) about how things feel. Tags are always cut, socks have to be just right, etc. That's funny. Now that Parker is getting into some of his old hand-me-downs, it's really been a pain trying to figure out what size they are!
Love Google Reader, have been using it for about a year or so. I read A LOT of blogs, so it comes in so handy to have them all organized and accounted for there.
