My boys constructed this log house out of my childhood Lincoln Logs. My parents brought out a big box of them last time we were in town. I had no idea my mom saved it, but I'm ecstatic she did. Growing up I spent countless hours building with my brother Mark. Lincoln Logs were right up there with Matchbox, Barbie, and Strawberry Shortcake for me. I love that my own children will have memories playing with these logs at Grandma + Grandpa's. I dug through and found these two pieces on which my brother + I had written. Our house number at the time was 29.

lincoln logs were one of my favorites as a kid too .. made corrals for all my play horses!! love you forever
I love it that your kids will play with the same toys you played with as a child. Glad we kept some things. Can't wait to see you all.
