this weekend
i love the sight of: my itty bitties through a new lens, snow-covered mountains, a full moon, Buby skiing by himself at 3, Bleu content sitting all bundled on a patch of ice with me, My Sweets spinning so fast on a saucer he was just about drooling, color-coded binders with all the kids' records, some pink in the playroom {finally}
i love the sound of: an excited "WOOHOO!" from Buby all the way down the hill and a proud "I did a very good job" as the tow-lift brought him back up, baby babble that's ever changing, a shout out to Mommy during an elementary school concert, German and French being spoken on the slopes, change hitting the bottom of the piggy bank
i love the scent of: winter, brown paper, fresh coffee, popcorn, spices, a chili pepper roasting on open fire, a clean house filled with healthy people
i love the taste of: hot cocoa, Tom's homemade jambalaya + croutons, chocolate chip pancakes, perfectly scrambled eggs, blueberries, blackberries, bananas, water, cheese
i love the feel of: a slow morning, valentines in the mail, sharing a sled with Buby, a muddy parking lot, the sun at our backs, all of my dining chairs filled for dinner, watching a late-night romcom with friends {"Serendipity" with Sara + Daymien}, a warm shower ~ even if it is with a babes on my hip, the best seats in the house ~ when it matters

I'm so happy for you with the new camera! Yippee! I'm impressed Buby went skiing on his own...VERY impressed! Ditto on the clean house filled with healthy people, coffee, brown paper, and popcorn. Muddy parking lots just don't do it for me, though!
