What You See
What you don't see: Buby hopping around bare nakie. Screaming in post-swim excitement. Me balancing Bleu between my legs for a sec so I can help him into the sweats, socks, and coat tucked under my arm. Bleu weaving in and out of the dressing room. Oh no! Buby giggling so loud he couldn't hear my pleas to focus. Me swooping up Bleu while calming Buby. All heading next door to wash. Good thing it's just us on Tuesdays.

Too funny- would you like to know that this situation is my biggest fear about public restrooms and the girls (by myself with a new baby strapped to my body!)
It's always gross, I know. That's why I kept Bleu in her infant carrier for as long as I could. So I would have two hands to help an excited, shivering Buby after swim class. He dresses himself at home, but I need to assist there so he doesn't plop down on the dirty YMCA family changing room carpet... which I've seen many a baby pee on. So much for that! Once Bleu came out of her carrier I held her with one arm and helped with the other. Now she's in that tricky stage where she elbows me and fights very fiesty to get down, but can't walk yet. Can't wait for her to be able to stand and hold my hand in these situations. C'est la vie.
Once she can stand it will be so much easier. Promise! I forgot all about that dressing room. I miss the Y. Hope you guys are enjoying swimming.
that's the kind of chaos i love .. love you forever
