Two's Company

Buby and gal pal Lillian at an impromptu play date this afternoon. Buby has A LOT more energy when Lillian's around, and I suspect Lillian's mom would say the same. At one point My Sweets called from work, and I couldn't hear a word. He asked "How many kids are over there?" Yeah, just two. They tend to get loud, and physical, and giggly, and defiant at times. But it's a joy to watch them work it out. I think I heard Buby say to Lillian "That is mine. You can't take that home," about a dozen times. I have no idea, except that he's been very sensitive about his toys since Christmas... and since his sister started taking everything she wasn't able to reach before.

Buby saw me grab my camera and asked me for his. He + Lillian started snapping photos of each other on the sit-n-spin. It was hilarious. He kept pleading with her not to move so fast. "It's blurry, Lillian, don't move. Say Cheese!" Yes, that's a Lumpy costume over a Buffalo Bills jersey.

Meanwhile, Bleu was exploring a few big, noisy, plastic things we recently brought down from the attic... things people gave to Buby as a baby that I couldn't wait for him to outgrow. Now it's her turn.

We had a great time, thank you! LP has definitely missed all her friends. She and Buby definitely get a lot noisier when they are together!
