I don't like packing up Christmas stuff at all. I wait until Jan 6th and usually wind up doing it later than that. I love Christmas decorations and I don't think I can get enough of them!
We put up our Christmas decorations the 1st week of December and take them all down the day after Christmas. It always feels so good to get rid of all the clutter, clean and organize for the new year. I think our neighbors were laughing when they saw Dad taking down the ourside decorations at 10am on 12/26. Since then we have been working on organizing the basement and Dad just finished my pantry - very excited for everything in 2009!
I LOVE it. The packing up. It's a lot of work and takes a few days b/c we go overboard on decorations. But we are in high holiday gear for a whole month starting the day after Thanksgiving. So by the time New Years rolls around I can't wait to put stuff away and clean and unclutter the house a bit.
