Top 10 Reasons Why I Love This '80s Christmas Photo:

1. My brothers are 7 years apart but always had to match. Notice the snazzy karate-kid outfits?
2. Christmas was all about new pajamas. These ones with the knee-high slippers were among my coolest.
3. My mom LOVED that tulip wallpaper with a passion. They moved 17 years ago, and I still poke fun of it about once a week. Then she reminds me how "NOT cheap" it was.
4. You will see the tree has garland instead of tinsel. I use neither. BUT my mom and I were just talking the other day about her tinsel addiction and she said she's always used it and would never do garland. Ha. Gotcha!!
5. The cassette rack. Buby says "What's that?"
6. The gift behind Billy says "Happy Birthday." So it's either mine 4 days late or my mom's 3 days early. Mingling it with Christmas gifts was a big no-no.
7. Billy's "My Buddy" doll. He dragged that thing everywhere. My Buddy... My Buddy and Me.
8. The Hess truck lives on.
9. Mario Brothers, Transformers, and Cabbage Patch Kids.
10. My pink headband. I think I wore a headband 24/7 for 5 years. It was my go-to accessory.
