She's one of our all-time favorite authors. Buby + I have spent countless days and nights reading the words of Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Yet we don't own any of her titles. Cookies: Bite-Size Life Lessons has become a running joke at our village library. Buby has checked it out so many times I lost count. The message is simple but really resonates. Whenever an opportunity arises for Buby to exercise patience or compassion or loyalty he reminds me of the examples in the book.

We rarely buy new at Barnes + Noble, but I couldn't resist making the series a part of our home library. There's a nostalgic quality to these full-size hardcover books that you'll just eat right up, as we have. $10.18 each, Amazon.
