I voted. Buby helped push the stroller. Bleu was just happy to be along for the ride. Our 3 year old knows a bit about each ticket. He followed the primaries closely and even had a Super Tuesday party here with his friend Gilly. On our jaunt this morning I asked him, "Who do you think should be President. McCain or Obama?" He replied, "Barack Obama. He wears a crown. He is SUPERbarackobama!!!" {throwing his arms in the air, Superman style} That was weird and unexpected. I laughed for at least a block.

Blue looks like she knows something nobody else knows. Love the photo - can't wait to see her.
VERY CUTE! I think they should have been able to vote, lol. After all, for better or worse, THEY will most be affected by this outcome! Uncle Mark LOVES you guys! XOXO
What great pictures, I love Buby pushing Bleu in the stroller, what a strong little man. And I LOVE THIS PICTURE OF BLEU, WHAT A HAPPY BABY GIRL!!!
Hee, hee, I love Bleu's little smile in the last photo. I wonder what she's thinking.
How did he feel today after you told him the results?
Love this photo of the baby! Such cutie!
Does dad know that Buby was rooting for Obama? lol.
We always take the kids to the voting booth and this year spent hours talking about the election, the candidates and the process itself. I love their interest and their thoughtful questions that are sometimes difficult to answer without a bias opinion in such an emotional race.
When Spencer understood that NYS was not a swing state he questioned why we were even going out to vote at all.
This was my most favorite of his questions and I hope I drove my answer home to him. I want my children to know why they are blessed to live in this country, to know what other lives are like, who do not have the luxury of living in a democracy. The importance of our vote and the sacrifices that so many have made so that we have it today.
