He's So Cool ~ part II

Buby contemplating our short but steep hike down to the Delaware River on Monday. It was all brush and bugs until we reached the nice rocky shore. My Sweets had his hands full carrying Buby and helping me not fall flat with Bleu on board. As usual, I marveled at the sight of my two boys fishing side-by-side. See the fourth photo? Same stance and everything. When it comes to fishing, they really are serious, skillful, relaxed. I came home with a most beautiful rock. For as long as my memory will allow, I have always come home with a beautiful rock.

Watching Daddy go first to drop off the tackle box and poles.

We've fished on this shore before. It's so peaceful. Not a soul in sight.

This area is gorgeous, especially in mid October. And so is my husband!!

She's more kid / less baby every day. Bleu is definitely one the most agreeable "whatev" babes I've ever known. As long as she's in my embrace, or within reach of it, she is happy as a clam. That makes 2 of us.

I love how he loves rocks. Just like me. I will always make room for his rocks.

Serves me right. I asked him to "say cheese stick!"

Buby is lucky to be able to share in his father's favorite sport - fishing. He'll always remember these early years and probably do it with his own son. Did I just make you feel old? Grandma Jenny??
