The Tree

A new work of art a la Buby. He's into deeper autumn colors this week--reds, oranges, browns, blues and mustards. What I fancy most about the Fall tree painting above is that it feels natural and alive. I sense movement and emotion in it. Since starting preschool, Buby gets a kick out of mixing two colors to make a third. He's always wanted to keep them separate, a new brush for every color. So our budding artiste has {so to speak} turned over a new leaf.

Ha, you're cute with the "turning over a new leaf" part. I laughed. I have always been impressed with Buby's artwork. He's got talent. And you truly foster it. I sort of feel like I copied you by posting the apple tree on my blog...I didn't mean to copy at all. It was a coincidence. Hope I didn't offend.

Ha! You're silly. I'm sure all of our kids are painting trees and apples and pumpkins right now. It's that time... Can't wait to check out Munchkinetta's.
