It turns out vacation is more exhausting than real life. Who knew? Most days I don't even remember I have the laptop. And when the kids are down for the night we just crash. We'll be home soon. Probably tomorrow. My car was in a mini accident, so we're trying to secure a rental to get us home until mine is "ALL BETTER," as Buby puts it. That aside, we've had the most fantabulous week. We went cherry picking and four-wheeling on the farm, co-hosted a 70th birthday bash for Grandpa J., hit the zoo with Grandma, overstimulated ourselves at a children's museum and butterfly garden, tried out two new playgrounds, lunched with the great aunts, fished on a pier, AND squeezed in all of our local food cravings. Didn't even tell most of our friends we were in town. This trip was all about quality time with the grandparents. Buby + Bleu bonus: Aunts, uncles, cousins. 1st, 2nd, 3rd. We didn't get in enough time with our cousins Spencer, Parker + Grace. Our parties conflicted and they were busy packing/ planning/ moving this weekend. But we'll play next time.
