this weekend


i love the sight of: historic bridges, my babies smiling at me, Buby in his dino jammies, a painted house.

i love the sound of: Bleu laughing out loud, thunder + lightening, Buby waking up sweet in the morning, kids learning to swim, toddlers chatting with each other, lawn mowers on Saturdays.

i love the scent of: enormous pine trees, thick mountain air, our pool, anything the bakery puts out, my lovelies after their baths.

i love the taste of: mud pie sundaes, fudge pops, fresh mozzarella, a warm baguette, ripe tomatoes, organic nitrate-free hot dogs, frozen hot chocolate, decaff iced tea made at home.

i love the feel of: a cool evening breeze, hugs + kisses, riding in the Jeep with my family, not wearing proper shoes or socks all summer long, being mom, going to bed knowing that tomorrow is a new day and another chance to do it all over again.
