Photos from Grandpa J's surprise 70th birthday last week! What a fun crowd. My Sweets + I co-hosted at Mike + Melissa's house. The color scheme was red, white and blue since Grandpa J. is an independence baby. The menu was down home BBQ, including pulled pork on hard rolls {seasoned with Sweet Baby Ray}, steamed clams, corn on the cob, baked beans, macaroni salad + devilled eggs {thanks Mom!}, cole slaw, tomato/cucumber/onion salad, a whipped jello, watermelon, fruit bowl, etc. For dessert, we had Grandpa's favorite buttercream cake with extra extra extra flowers, Aunt Pat's famous chocolate chip cookies, fudge brownies, and sugar cookies.
