We were far from home and Bleu wanted to eat again, so the men obliged by pulling into a fishing access area and jumping out with their poles. They were prepared. Buby waved as they headed down the hill toward the water. I carried our little chicky up front and fed her as I watched my boys fish the river wild. There's ALWAYS time for a quick stopover here or there. We try to keep our days unscheduled, flexible and fun! We do this a lot lately... fish on our way back from places. Pull over the Jeep to nurse. We're pretty free to be as long as we've got the milk machines {as I call them}, a stocked diaper bag, and fishing gear or a baseball mitt. Buby gets to do what he loves. Run. Collect rocks. Skip sticks. Hang with us. And so does Bleu. Eat. Sleep. Cuddle. If it's too windy or buggy, we just stay in the car after she eats and I hold her in my arms 'til the guys are ready to go. I crave this quiet time anyway, at least while we're all recovering.
