Quattro Tour Duo

We've concluded there is no perfect stroller for a toddler AND newborn combo. After scouring the market--and testing many models--we opted for the Quattro Tour Duo in Ionic from here. It the only one that meets all of our must-haves: Stable front-to-back design slim enough to maneuver street fairs, small-town storefronts and clothing racks {the side-by-side is too limiting for many of the places we frequent}; compatible with and able to securely latch our model infant car seat... in the back... facing Mom {I won't have to wake Bebe to transfer her + most models with a universal infant carrier strap go right across the baby--yuck!; a full front toddler seat that holds up to 50 pounds + gives Buby the best view {most strollers max out at 40... I can't see lifting him into the back and he certainly wouldn't be happy with a standing-only tandem}; compact fold {20% smaller in my trunk than any other Graco double}, 2 comfort seats with full harnesses; simple recline; 6 cup holders; spacious + easy-access basket; one-step breaking; simple turning; overhead protection. I had no problem maneuvering the stroller on many occasions with Buby on board, though I have a friend who tested it and thought definitely too heavy. It is 40 lbs and, I expect, a challenge lifting in and out of the car. But I'll have My Sweets home in the beginning. Plus, I'm deceptively strong. Our strollers get A LOT of use, so I'm looking forward to the summer with my kiddies.
