On route to the grocery store... Buby usually makes perfect sense. So I really treasure these other times.
Buby: I have a pickup truck, Mama
Mama: No Bub, but we have an SUV and a Jeep
Buby: I DO have a pickup truck, I DO {slightly annoyed now}
Mama: Well... we have some neighbors with pickups
Buby: My real friends have pickup trucks, Mama
Mama: Real friends?
Buby: Lily loves me
Mama: Yes, she does
Buby: Grace loves me, too. And Gilly, too?
Mama: Yes, Sweetie, they all love you
Buby: My REAL friends have pickup trucks
Mama: Actually, Gilly's Daddy has a pickup, you're right
Buby: I love Gilly
