This is why no nap today. Tuesdays are guaranteed nap days because of back-to-back preschool and swim classes. Today should have brought on a super duper slumber, because I moved Buby from 4 bubbles down to 3 in the pool and he had to work much harder kicking and paddling! BUT BUT BUT all of that went awry when another parent brought in pure sugar to our preschool party. The cupcakes were store bought, so I cut Buby off after half. And still, he literally bounced in his seat all the way home.

Cute picture. My Mom always made everything from scratch, so it was only at school parties that I ever ate store-bought cupcakes. I was always tricked because they never tasted half as good as they looked. Grace always oohs and aahs anything flashy or decorative, so I'm sure she'll be falling for the cupcake trick, too.
I'm so glad you posted this, I was sad to have to miss the rest of the party. How did the parade go, LP and her daddy were both too tired to tell me much. LP was starving when she got home, she is still pretty anti-cupcake.
