We topped off a supersweet LOVE Week with a field trip to Chuck E. Cheese's with Buby's 3 best buds. By the afternoon Buby's mailbox was stuffed with LOVE from friends + family. Thanks to everyone who sent V-Day cards to our Little Dude this week. He takes stock of them throughout the day, so we'll keep the box out for as long as he likes. Arriving home Thursday, we were greeted by this ubercool "Hug Me" ornament from cousins Spencer, Grace + Parker. I waited to give Buby his gift bag from us until Daddy got home from work. {He had a long week, and I didn't want him to miss out.} Buby and I were reading books in bed a little after 9pm when we heard a door close three floors down. "DADDY'S HOME!" As soon as Daddy's head peaked around Buby's bedroom door, he sat up and yelled "HAPPY VAWLENTINE'S DAY, DADDY!" It was so worth the wait. As our little guy drifted off, we snuck downstairs for some ridiculously large steaks, garlic smashed potatoes, and decadent cupcakes from Manhattan bakery Magnolia. Supersweet indeed.

It really was quite a week. We loved the gift bag...thank you so much. I'll bet those cupcakes were awesome.
