Dog Days
Buby + Molly
Buby has 3 enormous dog friends. He runs + tosses + tugs with them 'til his heart's content. A big dog's BFF. I find it hilarious how Buby plays rough with four-legged beasts {like Molly, above} while stressing over the seemingly harmless teeny tiny types. My mom's pug Murphy drives him mad. She's jumpy + nervous + barky in a crowd. Not her fault, but all marks against her for sure. Buby is obsessed with feeding Murphy treats, but only when there's a metal cage between them. He begs to let her out to play just to scream in horror the second she does. I won't even get into the dynamics between him and our Jazzy, a 10.5 year old spitz/chin mix. Jazzy hasn't really tolerated Buby since he began crawling. In many ways she regressed back to jealous, disobedient puppy mode. Suddenly she's taking food right from his hands, jumping on his table, rudely snapping at him. Sooo not the pre-Buby Jazzy we raised. Then again, she's old and small. Their issues get more ridiculous by the day. Half the time I'm playing ref or separating the 2. I cannot even imagine once Bebe arrives. Doggy daycare, anyone?

You'll have your hands full when Bebe arrives, but maybe Jazzy will just find somewhere to hide for awhile. Buby will be busy with his new sister and maybe he won't pay any attention to Jazzy. Maybe...
Molly loves when Buby comes to play and we love the tired (and therefore nice docile dog) we get for the next 24 hours!!
yep, buby sure wore molly out and molly loved every minute of it!!
jazzy was the princess for the longest time and doesn't want to give up that role!! dogs are just like having kids around
love you forever
Our older cat loved LP when she first came home, she would snuggle up on my lap with us when LP was nursing. The younger cat wanted nothing to do with her. But once LP got mobile it was a complete reversal, the younger one is now LP's best friend and they play together all the time. The older one wants nothing to do with her anymore.
oh.. I cannot even begin to tell you what happens with the dog when you bring baby number 2 home. We are trying to give ours to my parents if that says anything!!!
buby loves jazzy, but jazzy gets increasingly aggressive with him. she's got such a short fuse for a dog, which is sad b/c buby tries so hard to play with her. he's sweet with her, but the second they interract it's total chaos. when i separate them, i find her on the couch (where she's not allowed) or doing something else she's never been allowed to do. she's definitely acting up. think she knows i'm pregnant?
We said Jazzy could live with us. I'm not sure she would enjoy living with Murphy, Sam and Gizzmo
