Buby Boo

6th Day of Sick. Who knew on Sunday night when a little cough came, or Monday when Buby told us his left ear was bothering him, that it was the beginning of a sleepless week for all in Buby Land. We got him to the peds on New Year's Eve. She was amazed Buby had alerted us, especially since he'd never experienced ear infections. He did have fluid in his ears. No inflammation yet, so we all waited to see if it got better on its own before giving in to an antibiotic {Buby is allergic to the penicillin family, so we don't like to overuse the alternate unless absolutely necessary}. A day later, it was a high 103.7 temp, yucky cough, runny nose, loss of appetite, and diaper troubles. Temp was down yesterday but he barfed once... all over Daddy's new Jeep. Poor Buby has been laying low all week, napping unexpectedly on the playroom floor or on the couch. We've been playing catch and drawing, but even that wipes him out. He's extra sweet + extra sensitive when sick. And wants to be carried everywhere. Symptoms are clearing, so fingers crossed he's back to norm in a couple of days. At 2 yrs + 3 mos, Buby is 37 pounds and 38 inches.
