this weekend...
i love the sight of: Buby at the beanery waiting patiently to share a scone with Daddy, snow falling, photo cards from all the families we heart but rarely see, our 2-year-old running off to make new friends at a holiday party, wreaths wrapped in burgundy bows in our upstairs windows, a to-do list with many things crossed off, sparkly ornaments made by Buby
i love the sound of: "MAMA, ARE YOU OKAY?" coming from the backseat, preschoolers whispering to each other in private, the wind hitting our windows and reminding us it is winter, Buby playing the drums
i love the scent of: cranberry-orange muffins baking in the oven
i love the taste of: all things sweet, all things salty, all things spicy, all things bread + pasta + meat + potatoes + fruit, cereal w/ bananas, freezing cold orange juice, chocolate croissants after a massage
i love the feel of: Mama + Daddy + Buby holding hands on the sidewalk, my supersoft PB robe, laying in Buby's bed reading books when he suddenly throws his arm over me and closes his eyes, a pea-in-the-pod massage and refreshing facial treatment on an early Saturday morning, a clean room
