Buby and I hosted Playdate Friday this morning. And had the best time. Just three munchkins. Lillian {"LALLY" to Buby} is at the beach, and Shaelin started school recently. Buby taught Gillian and Grace how to fish and skip rocks in our little pond. {I confirmed the big orange fish did NOT have a heart attack.} The kids did some wagon riding around the yard, a down-the-street neighbor brought over two bags of fresh-picked tomatoes for us {SCORE!}, Grace hung in the sandbox for a while--per usual--and smothered cream cheese all over her face--per usual. Gillian got super into croquet and golf and a giggly game of peek-a-boo with Buby and the blue tunnel. A very scrumptious morning indeed. There was even some toddler hugs exchanged. Us moms talked more about the "Five Little Monkeys" birthday celebration we're all putting on for the five friends in late September. Oooh it's going to be fun. You should see how the menu is shaping up. More on that later. A big thanks to Alana and Allison!
