Grammy Wishes

Buby gives a big fish lips birthday kiss to Grammy DJ. He changed her name recently to Grammy. Or "GRAMMA!" when he demands attention. Sometimes he just calls her DJ, and that's okay, too. She doesn't live anywhere near here, but she comes to play with Buby every month anyway. She's my Granny Nanny on short notice. She would rather be with her kids and grandkids than anywhere else in the world. She pays attention to every new word Buby utters, every expression his face finagles and files it away as a memory. She spoils him against our will, but it makes her happy. And him happy. So we've decided that's okay, too. She makes Buby feel at home in her home. She sews homemade ornaments for all of his trees. She takes him to the park and goes down the slide with him. She pulls the little red wagon around the village and colors with crayons. She reads books over and over again if that's what Buby's little heart desires. She lays on the floor and plays choo choo and cars. She collects things that she thinks Buby will like someday. She always has BUBY ON THE BRAIN! She's a grandma to the third power. Happy Birthday to Grammy DJ!!
