Buby just received his first art easel, magnetic dry/erase, and chalkboard all in one. The Step 2 Easel For Two, $39.99, from Toys R Us has been the center of attention in our house since Sunday. It comes with letter and number magnets, has clips at the top of each side for sketch paper, and folds flat for easy storage. A big thanks to Grammy DJ.
Our fridge is stainless, which provides a nice clean modern look, but I miss my goofy little magnets from the city. And until now, the resident toddler has been deprived of all magnetic learning thingys. So we are thrilled to be proud owners of this new art easel accessory. The LeapFog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set, $17.99. It's helping Buby sing his ABCs. Thanks, Grammy!

Cute easel. We're in the process of researching one for Grace's birthday gift. Haven't settled on one yet. Glad your little guy likes his new easel!
We didn't pick this out--Grammy did--but I checked online afterwards and definitely like it compared to some others. It folds completely flat, and that tray blocks the middle so the kids can't go under and flip over the sides like so many of the models. It also provides a lot of storage in the middle section (paper, extra magnets, crayons, etc.) that others don't. Good luck in your search!
