I smile thinking about Kent Couch, an Oregon man who tied 105 large helium balloons to his lawn chair this past Saturday and fulfilled a childhood fantasy. Did you see the story? The crazy gas station owner and his floating lawn chair made it 9 hours and 193 miles from home. Afterwards he said, "When you're laying in the grass on a summer day, and you see the clouds, you wish you could jump on them. This is as close as you can come to jumping on them. It's just like that." Like most kids, Buby's totally into helium balloons. I'm sure the idea of floating up into the clouds will cross his mind many times growing up. As a person, I never want him to attempt this kind of foolishness himself. As a mama, I want him to believe that he could. That anything is possible. The sky is the limit! I hadn't heard about this story and I think it's pretty neat. I'm glad you shared it here.
