happy OPENING DAY OF TROUT SEASON!!

April 1st, 2007 is a huge deal in Buby Land, USA. The day will begin with a practical joke to end all practical jokes (wow, that's a lot of pressure... let's not get ahead of ourselves). Then church (we recently switched to a new location that we quite like and is Buby friendly). Then Hubby (with an H) will disappear into the wild of the Neversink to catch the big one. Yes, it's a real place. Real remote. Real pretty at certain times of the year. Real unlikely he'll catch anything. But I love him for trying. And trying. And trying.

Sorry Hubby, but I cannot lie. I can, however, vouch for the THOUSANDS of fish you caught off our private island on Lake Saranac.... right in front of my eyes. I know, it's not how many you catch, it's how much fun you have in the process. It's time outdoors. Time alone. Time to think of a good excuse for not catching anything. Oops, sorry once more. I love ya, Sweets! Buby loves you, too!! He can't wait to go fishing with you this summer. And every summer forever and ever...
